The new Miss World China, Wei Wei Yu, is an example of persistence: 

She had competed two other times at Miss World China, reaching the third spot in 2009 and 2011, before finally getting the crown in 2013.

During 2013 competition, Wei Wei Yu won not only the ultimate title, but also Top Model and Beauty With a Purpose awards. In 2009 she was the Beach Beauty award winner.
